Kyle started in the trades in high school re-roofing homes in Clovis, New Mexico. Kyle quickly became a foreman and was running crews by the summer of 2002 when he graduated high school. Around that time, Kyle and his friends were approached to start a framing crew to build investment properties and apartments all over the Eastern N.M. area. They jumped at the opportunity. By the time Kyle was 21, he was running framing crews and managing many different projects for larger contractors and investors. Kyle and friends soon found themselves responsible for managing multi-million dollar subdivision builds with well over 100 homes. In 2006 Kyle was offered a job for an investor in Roswell N.M. where he would frame and manage the build of many houses and apartments for many investors in Roswell and Artesia. Kyle stayed very busy and learned a lot about managing people and projects! When the housing market crash happened work for new construction homes came to a complete stop overnight. Kyle decided it was time for a change of scenery and needed to find a way to survive. Kyle enrolled in college and over next couple of years received a degree in business and also a degree in information technology. While finishing his degrees, people Kyle would meet would often ask him to do small odds and end jobs. These jobs always led to other jobs and before you know it, Kyle was back to running a construction business in Tyler. Kyle is a husband and father of three daughters, which are his pride and joy. If you are ever looking for him in the evening or weekends, he is likely hanging with his girls at the soccer fields or wherever else the girls are!
Kyle still owns and runs a very successful remodeling business. Being in the trades, he noticed a need for a new and honest roofing company. While talking with his good friend Daniel, they decided they are the right people at the right time to start an honest and different kind of roofing company - HD Standard.

Daniel Hernandez, a native of Tyler, Texas, enjoyed a distinguished 15-year career as a professional soccer player before retiring in 2012.
Since then, he has excelled in the insurance industry, owning his own business and dedicated himself to helping families across the country. Daniel’s #1 goal is to take care of his clients and families

From one family man to another, Daniel has made the transition and proud decision to partner with his good friend, Kyle D’Spain, to start HD Standard Roofing LLC. Their morals and values align perfectly together to make sure they now take care of their new customers and families with transparency and integrity. That is their Standard.
Off the field, Daniel has remained an active leader in his community. He has supported numerous initiatives, and now has his own nonprofit foundation, Hernandez Soccer All-Stars. Daniel also hosts an Annual Community Christmas Soccer Clinic every year in multiple cities.
Despite his many professional accomplishments, Daniel considers his greatest role to be that of a loving father to his three beautiful daughters.
